Sami Labs seeks participation from Kerala farmers for cultivation

Bangalore based Sami Labs Limited is seeking participation from the farmers in Kerala. Sami Labs is into cultivating plants with medicinal value and which are required in the production of medicines. These standardised medicinal extracts are primarily exported, explained Dr Muhammed Majeed, Director of Sami Labs.

Currently the medicinal plants are cultivated in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The company will supply the required seedlings and technology suitable for the climate in Kerala, informed Dr Majeed. Farmers with one acre of land will be considered for medicinal plant cultivation.
